When She Sees Herself Through God’s Eyes A 7-Day Journey from Comparison to Confidence in Christ
Day 1: Intentionally Created
Read Psalm 139:13–16
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…”
Psalm 139:13–14
Today, focus on this:
I am created intentionally.
Nothing about me surprised God.
He didn’t accidentally make you. He didn’t look at you and think, Well, I guess this is what we ended up with.
He formed you.
He knew you before anyone else ever saw you. He knew what you would look like, what you would struggle with, what you would love, and all the days that would come before you ever lived one of them.
So here’s your question for today:
If God intentionally formed you, what lie are you believing when you say you wish you looked like someone else?
Don’t rush past the question.
Let yourself wrestle with it.
You don’t have to have a perfect answer today. Just be honest with yourself and with God.
You were not an accident.
You were intentionally created.
