When She Sees Herself Through God’s Eyes A 7-Day Journey from Comparison to Confidence in Christ

Day 3: Who Does God Say I Am?

Read Ephesians 1.

Then go back through the chapter and write down every phrase that describes who you are because of Christ.

Chosen.
Loved.
Adopted.
Redeemed.
Forgiven.
Accepted.

Read those words again.

Slowly.

These aren’t things you have to earn by being prettier, smarter, thinner, more talented, more successful, or more like someone else.

They are part of your identity in Christ.

Now ask yourself:

“Which one is hardest for me to believe?”

Maybe it’s chosen.

Maybe it’s loved.

Maybe it’s forgiven.

Maybe it’s accepted.

Don’t give the answer you think you’re supposed to give.

Give the honest one.

Then ask God:

“Why is this so hard for me to believe?”

You may find that the word you struggle to believe points toward a wound, a lie, or a place where you have been listening to someone else’s voice louder than God’s.

You don’t have to fix it all today.

Just be honest enough to name it.

Sometimes healing begins when we finally admit where it hurts.
