Day 6: Seeing Through God’s Eyes

Read through God’s Word and then make two lists.

Draw a line down the middle of a page.

The world’s mirror says…
God’s Word says…

Then start writing down the messages you hear.

The world says:
“You aren’t enough.”

God says:
“My grace is sufficient for you.”
2 Corinthians 12:9

The world says:
“You need to look different.”

God says:
“We are his workmanship.”
Ephesians 2:10

The world says:
“Your worth depends on how you look.”

God says:
“You are fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Psalm 139:14

The world is going to keep giving you messages about who you should be.

But you get to decide which voice you are going to believe.

So look at your two lists.

Which voice have you been listening to the most?

And then ask God:

“Help me see myself the way You see me.”

You may not believe every truth overnight.

That’s okay.

Start by listening.

Because you can’t change the way you see yourself if you keep filling your mind with the same lies.
